I’ve been in marketing for over a decade creating company website’s and refining them for search engine optimization, designing email marketing templates and campaigns, involved with social media, performing pay-per-click campaigns, putting together display advertising and all kinds of digital marketing efforts ranging from really cool to … let’s just say “unusual.”
I’ve been working for myself over the last 6 years helping clients with their needs and guiding them for better success. My biggest discovery related to my clients in that time has been their overwhelming need for a focused digital marketing plan. They also needed access to trusted knowledge and experience to guide in the development and execution of that plan. So I decided to build a new beginning for myself and, more importantly, for others as well by forming DT Squared. How is this different?
While working for myself with a handful of clients I was also working for another corporation in their marketing group. As my client’s needs grew, I was having a hard time keeping up and effectively integrating their marketing campaigns into a more formal strategy. That was a disservice to them and myself. I couldn’t give my full attention and attend planning meetings by only working evenings and weekends. So I decided to embrace the needs of my clients and devote my full attention to them. Besides, corporate positions can sometimes be limiting in personal growth and I knew I had more to offer. We all feel that way at some point in our careers.
Reinvigorated, I and my business, DT Squared, can now primarily focus on partnering with small businesses assisting in their marketing efforts and creating a plan for moving forward. Together we’ll review what you’ve done in the past and your current goals. We’ll produce a clear digital marketing strategy with reports to gauge ROI and evaluation points so the plan stays flexible. Transparency is key, so is knowledge.
As a partner, my commitment is also to provide relevant education on each strategy element. The What, How and Why. What seems simple in marketing isn’t usually the case and it’s easy to overlook something or even just not know. Worse, the information you find on the internet is dated or even wrong. I, my business and this website is meant to be a resource where small business owners can get good, proven information. Where people can ask questions and get answers. Find guidance to learn to help themselves.
